THE PARTY AREAS

Upstairs entertainment will be in the Metromix Centennial Ballroom (Atlanta's largest hotel ballroom with a 30-foot high ceiling) featuring live music by two national acts, Ed Kowalczyk of Live & Naughty By Nature, and the winner of the Band to Band competition along with a DJ spinning between sets. Regency VI & VII Ballrooms will feature DJ Suspense's Video DJ Remix. Moving one level down, "Red Bull/Lethal Rhythms Club "12" will take over the Grand Hall, featuring Lethal Rhythms Atlanta Professional Mix DJ Joel Rabe in a club-like setting. The "Punchline Comedy Lounge" (located in the Learning Center Theater) will highlight four comedians doing two shows that night. There will also be heavy hors d'ouvres, carving and pasta stations, and late night breakfast buffets throughout the party areas.

VIP AREA

For those requiring something a little more special, the Downtown Countdown will be offering an upscale, exclusive VIP ticket with 3 exclusive roped off VIP sections in each party area. A very limited number of tickets will be available & will sell quickly. The VIP area will offer a more upscale menu with the finest array of liquors, beers, wines & champagnes & a ratio of one bartender per every 50 guests. The VIP ticketholder will also enjoy their own registration, will call & complimentary coat check.
